snow... rock... weekend...
Damn, it snowed both Friday and Saturday nights, but melted quickly the next day each time. I'm one of those people that loves snow and isn't scared to drive in it, so I've been bummed at such a light snowfall and quick melt. Damn it, I want 6 inches.
Friday night we didn't go out, not much was happening in Seatown. Saturday I didn't accomplish much. I worked a little on my Tri Zone pinball table and put up an ad to sell it on Craigslist and the Mr. Pinball classifieds. Then in the early evening I hooked up with the Hollowpoints at the Gallaway Arms to interview them for the next Tablet. It went great and we did shots and I drank Guiness, yum. Afterwards we went to Lilly and Josh's White Elephant Housewarming party at their loft in Pioneer Square. That was pretty fun, but had a low turnout. At midnight we cruised to the Sunset and got there in time to catch the last half of the Gloryholes set - which was damn rockin' of course and a bunch of our friends were there, so we were glad we got there. Too bad we missed the other bands, all of which I wanted to see. Ken confirmed he's moving to Portland next weekend and is the new owner of Green Noise Records. Awesome.
I think we may be cruising down to 4 O'Clock Punk Rock at the Sunset today after a Costco trip. We need to take pix of the Hollowpoints, plus they are playing with the New Fangs, so it sounds like a great show.
