Vegas

We are planning a group Vegas trip for the end of April. Yay, I'm so ready for 90 degree days sitting at the swimming pool sipping bloody mary's for breakfast. I think we have our hearts set on staying at Treasure Island. Amy and I have never stayed there and we try to stay in a different place each time. Plus it's pirate themed.... aaaaarrrrrrr, and they have revamped it to be more adult...



They have a new show out in front, more hip bars and they added a burlesque lounge. Rock.

Although the Flamingo Hilton does look to have a really kick ass pool set up and is slightly cheaper. Hmmmm... If anyone is interested in going, bug me for more details. I think right now about 10 peeps are on board.

Free furniture and office stuff!

Tablet is moving offices from Belltown to Capital Hill (right by Nuemos below Brian Coloff's print shop!) The new space is going to be a bit smaller than our current one, but way cooler and more convenient. We have lots of stuff we don't use and also need to downsize. We will be donating a bunch of stuff to Goodwill if no one wants it, I thought I'd offer it up to friends first:

-Desks 2 or 3, quite functional, but no frills (Amy and I also have a big 60s wood desk for free in our garage)
-Shelving, book type particle board, I think we have 2 or 3 units of various colors and sizes
-Shelving, cement block and 2x12 board type, could also be used for construction projects
-Mac, fairly old, maybe a G3, fully working, has network card, probably modem card... you are welcome to salvage parts from it if you take the whole thing

What we need:
-One PC monitor in decent shape, one of ours has turned pink. Sounds kinda cool, but it's annoying.
-One small desk. The ones we have are really too big, if anyone has a smaller desk they aren't using, we'd be interested in it.
